About The Organisers

Aussiecon 4 is organised by a Committee whose main aim is to ensure that the convention is financially viable, entertaining, inclusive rather than exclusive, and a memorable experience for all members.

The convention Committee is overseen by a controlling Board - Victorian Science Fiction Conventions, Incorporated - which is a not-for-profit, incorporated association that is subject to State and Federal legislative and financial arrangements.  The Board was created in 1996 to oversee the organisation of Aussiecon Three.  The members of the Board are Perry Middlemiss - Chair, Rose Mitchell - Treasurer, Stephen Boucher, Janice Gelb, Mark Linneman, Alan Stewart, and Julian Warner.
